The Nelson Terrace is a perfect setting for outdoor gatherings — either as a primary venue or as an extension of the adjacent Pollock Ballroom. Doorways from the ballroom open onto the terrace which dominates the south end of the Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center. Constructed of paving bricks, The terrace features a landscaped perimeter graced by a stand of majestic oak trees, a sculpture garden, and a curved seating wall. Dramatic outdoor lighting enhances the Nelson Terrace as a venue for evening events.
